The veteran correspondent, who joined NBC News in 2023 after two decades at CNN, is being elevated to chief business correspondent at the NBCUniversal-backed news outlet and will this summer begin anchoring a two-hour mid-morning program on NBC News Now, the company’s live-streamed news service. The addition of Romans’ program, which will air at 10 a.m. weekdays, will give NBC News Now 14 hours of live news programming each day — more original hours than any of its rivals.
