Children, aged six and 11, rushed to hospital after being attacked by a dog at playground: Police release CCTV

Published: 21:15, 28 July 2026 | Updated: 21:15, 28 July 2026 Two children aged six and 11 were rushed to hospital after being attacked by a dog at the playground.  Police now wish to speak to a woman who was pictured on CCTV with a dog after the children were mauled.  The children were attacked near Newfoundpool in Leicester on April 19 and were bitten on their legs and thighs.   They were both treated at hospital.    Police appealed for information today after releasing CCTV of a woman and a dog. They are looking to identify and speak to the owner.  A spokesman for the West Leicester Police said: 'Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident was reported to us and we hope the public can help us move the investigation on.
