Coady was stretchered off the pitch in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw between the two clubs on Easter Monday.‌The veteran defender was hit in the face by a fiercely-struck shot and was knocked out. Medical staff reacted quickly and the 33-year-old was taken to hospital to be assessed.‌There was a lengthy delay at Vicarage Road before the match was able to conclude.
