The 5-foot-10, 173-pound defensive back from Orlando (Fla.) Lake Nona High School committed to the Wolverines on Friday over offers from Florida State, Oregon, Kentucky and Texas A&M. Woodson produced 73 tackles, eight pass breakups, two interceptions and returned a kickoff and an interception for touchdowns during his junior season. He recently shone in his team’s spring game, returning an interception for a touchdown. Woodson played in the Navy All-American Bowl in January. He’s rated a three-star recruit by Rivals/On3 and 247Sports. Michigan has landed 10 commitments in its 2027 recruiting class under new coach Kyle Whittingham.
