Without invitation, he then stepped inside under the guise of discussing things further.‌Once inside, the woman sat on her armchair, sat on her footrest, took off his gloves, and put his hand around her throat. His victim pleaded with him to let her go as she said she could not breathe, but Morrison told her to “shut up”.Morrison fled empty-handed from the property in Little Hulton, Salford, as he was foiled by the arrival of the woman’s mobile hairdresser, Manchester Crown Court heard.‌At a previous hearing, Morrison was said to have attempted to rob the woman as a way to pay for his funeral.
