The Black Country side have endured a woeful campaign in 2025/26.‌They have been anchored to the bottom of the table since the third week of the campaign. And while things have improved over recent weeks under Rob Edwards, they could soon be confirmed as a Championship club.‌In fact, their relegation could be rubber-stamped as soon as this weekend. Wolves take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.‌Defeat to Daniel Farke’s men, as well as a Tottenham victory against Brighton later in the day, would see Wolves fall into the Championship. Should Edwards’ side come away with anything from Elland Road, they may then be given a stay of execution until Monday evening when West Ham take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.As it stands, Wolves sit bottom of the table on 17 points, having won just three games all season.
