Cameron Walker has shared adorable snaps from his first trip to Balmoral more than 20 years ago while reporting on King Charles's summer break in Scotland.
Reporting from outside the gates of the royal estate beloved by the late Queen Elizabeth, Cameron reflected on the “special day” he enjoyed there in 2003.
“I was part of a friends and family contingent on the other side of the gate there, because my cousin's husband was captain of the guard at Balmoral,” the GB News Royal Correspondent recalled.
“He was in the Royal Regiment of Scotland, so he got to escort the Queen down the line of soldiers. I haven't been back for a ceremonial welcome at Balmoral since
“I don't really remember much about it, but I do remember seeing the Queen and her Range Rover driving past me as she went towards the castle. So yeah, it was a very special day.”
“Your future was written in the stars from that point onwards,” Emily Carver chimed in.
