Budget rail operator Lumo has officially kicked off its brand-new West Coast service this week, giving travellers a new low-cost option for journeys between London and Scotland.
The much-anticipated service launched this week, connecting London Euston directly with Stirling at fares starting from just £29.90.
The service also offers journeys from London to Preston starting at £23.90, while trips between Preston and Stirling begin at an impressive £14.90.
Lumo's signature blue trains will run a single-class service designed to make rail travel accessible for everyone - great for Britons hoping to explore more of the country.
The route makes stops at Milton Keynes, Nuneaton, Crewe, Preston, Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Whifflet, Greenfaulds and Larbert along the way.
Whifflet, which serves Coatbridge, and Greenfaulds, serving Cumbernauld, now have their first-ever direct rail connections to the capital.
This is historic for residents in these areas, with more tourists for local businesses, and new travel opportunities that didn't exist before.
The operator already runs successful services on the East Coast Main Line, linking Glasgow, Falkirk and Edinburgh with the North East of England and London.

For British travellers, this new route is a real game-changer when it comes to staycations and exploring different corners of the country.
The operator has already been building strong ties with local communities along the route, partnering with Preston Caribbean Carnival to open a new rail base in the city and creating around 100 jobs in the process.
