Bucks finalizing deal to hire Taylor Jenkins as head coach: Sources
The Milwaukee Bucks are finalizing a deal with Taylor Jenkins to become the team’s next head coach, league sources confirmed to The Athletic. The 41-year-old was the head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies from 2019 to 2025 and led the franchise to four playoff appearances in his six seasons.League sources told The Athletic the agreement comes at the end of a “full-court press” by the organization to secure one of the top names on the coaching market before other teams have a chance to enter the market after postseason eliminations. As The Athletic first reported, general manager Jon Horst and both of the Bucks’ primary owners, Wes Edens and Jimmy Haslam, traveled to Memphis early last week to express their interest in bringing Jenkins to Milwaukee.Advertisementالمصدر: The Athletic | Source: The Athletic
