By JAMES TAPSFIELD, UK POLITICAL EDITOR Published: 12:10, 2 July 2026 | Updated: 12:11, 2 July 2026 Brits' attitude towards the Greens has declined since Zack Polanski became leader, according to a poll. YouGov research showed the party's net favourability score has dropped to minus 16 - the lowest recorded to date. Some 52 per cent had a negative view. The Greens are hoping to put in a strong showing in the Greater Manchester Mayoral contest to replace Mr Burnham - now poised to become PM. However, Reform are also pouring considerable resources into the contest. The comments below have not been moderated.
