Police did not name the New London, Wisconsin, school where the child was found in their latest update.‌He was located in a a river at about 7.17am local time the same day and was transported to a medical centre where doctors confirmed he had died. He was reported missing just before 5am, before being found just over two hours later where he was rushed to hospital. At around 11.30am local time, police updated to say the boy had died.John Faucher, owner of a local store, said he saw a large police presence in New London, Wisconsin, after an Amber alert went out.
