saldırısına uğradı. Sosyal medyada paylaşılan güvenlik kamerası görüntülerine göre, motosikletli şahıslar tarafından önü kesilen Hugo, içlerinden birinin yaylım ateşi açması sonucu hayatını kaybetti. Devlet Başsavcılığı, yaptığı açıklamada, Hugo'nun "şiddet içeren bir olay sonucu talihsiz ölümünü" doğrulayarak, olayla ilgili "tüm soruşturma mekanizmalarının derhal harekete geçirildiğini" belirtti. Hugo'nun ailesine baş sağlığı dileyen başsavcılık, "Bu olay sadece bir aileyi değil, aynı zamanda ülkenin adalet sistemini yasa boğmuştur. Tarım ve Çevre Mahkemesi (TA), Yüksek Adalet Mahkemesi (TSJ) ve Hakimler Savcılar Kurulu (Consejo de la Magistratura), ayrı ayrı yayımladıkları bildirilerle saldırıyı "nefretle" kınadıklarını bildirdi. TSJ Başkanı Romer Saucedo, Amerikan merkezli X şirketinin sosyal medya platformundaki hesabından yaptığı paylaşımda, devletin güvenlik birimlerini eleştirdi. Hugo cinayetinin sınırları açtığını vurgulayan Saucedo, "Vatandaşlarına güvenlik sağlamayan bir ülkede yaşanamaz. Kiralık katilliğin (sicariato) her yeri sardığı ve devletin bileğini büktüğü bir ülkede yaşanamaz. Bizi yıldıramayacaklar.
