saldırıları altında bulunan Lübnan'daki duruma dair değerlendirmelerde bulundu. Lübnan'da kırılgan bir ateşkes süreci yaşandığını kaydeden Doraid, bu süreçte kadın ve kız çocuklarının öldürülmesi ve yerlerinden edilmesinin devam ettiğini vurguladı. Doraid, "(Saldırılar) Bunlar, uluslararası hukuk uyarınca sivillere tanınan en temel hak ve korumaların ihlalidir. 17 Nisan'da yürürlüğe giren ateşkes anlaşmasına rağmen son üç haftada 25 kadının öldürüldüğü ve 109 kadının yaralandığı bildirildi. Bu da kadın ve kız çocuklarının ateşkesin sağladığı algılanan güvenlik altında evlerine dönmeye çalışırken karşılaştıkları tehlikenin devam ettiğini vurguluyor." dedi. Doraid, görüştüğü kadınların çoğunun Litani Nehri’nin güneyindeki köylerde bulunan evlerinin yıkıldığını söylediğini belirterek, bir kadının ise köyünün uğradığı yıkım nedeniyle tamamen tanınmaz hale geldiğini anlattığını aktardı. "Devam eden İsrail hava saldırıları, tahliye emirleri, belirli bölgelere dönüş yasakları ve hareket kısıtlamaları, çoğu insanın hala geri dönemediği anlamına geliyor." diyen Doraid, 500 bini aşkın kadın ve kız çocuğunun yerinden edildiğini hatırlattı. Gıdaya erişimin azaldığının altını çizen Doraid, bir kadının meslektaşına, ailesini beslemek için yabani otlar toplamak zorunda kaldığını anlattığını söyledi. Doraid, "Önümüzdeki aylarda yaklaşık 144 bin kadın ve kız çocuğunun daha kriz düzeyinde açlıkla veya daha kötüsüyle karşı karşıya kalması bekleniyor. Toplam sayının yaklaşık 639 bine ulaşacağını tahmin ediyoruz." dedi. Uluslararası insancıl hukuk uyarınca ateşkesin tam olarak sürdürülmesi ve kapsamlı bir barışa geçiş sağlanması gerektiğine vurgu yapan Doraid, kadınların barış inşası ve iyileştirme çalışmalarına katılımının önemine işaret etti. İsrail ordusu, Lübnan'a 2 Mart'ta yoğun hava saldırıları başlatarak, ülkenin güneyinde birçok beldeyi işgal etmişti. Lübnan hükümeti de bu sürede ülkede yerinden edilenlerin sayısının 1 milyonu aştığını açıklamıştı. Lübnan Sağlık Bakanlığı, 2 Mart'tan beri İsrail saldırılarında yaklaşık 2 bin 700 kişinin öldüğünü bildirmişti. ABD Başkanı Donald Trump, 24 Nisan'da yaptığı açıklamada, Lübnan ile İsrail arasında 17 Nisan'da yürürlüğe giren 10 günlük geçici ateşkesin 3 hafta daha uzatıldığını duyurmuştu. Ateşkese rağmen İsrail ordusu Lübnan'ın güneyindeki saldırılarını ve ev yıkımlarını sürdürürken, Hizbullah da ateşkesi ihlal ettiği gerekçesiyle İsrail birliklerine saldırılar düzenliyor.
