Blues NHL Draft lottery primer: First-round pick, rules, recent history and projections

ST. LOUIS — A late-season push lessened the St. Louis Blues’ odds of a top pick in the NHL Draft, but there’s still a chance to get lucky.The league’s draft lottery is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. It will be held at the NHL Network’s Secaucus, N.J., studio, with the event broadcast live on ESPN.The lotto will determine the order of selection for the top 16 picks in the first round, which will take place June 26 and 27 in Buffalo, N.Y. The first round will be June 26 at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN, and Rounds 2 through 7 will be June 27 at 9 a.m. CT on NHL Network and ESPN+.Advertisement
