'Biggest ever' National Lottery draw launches TOMORROW as major shake-up will see DOUBLE the amount of millionaires
The "biggest ever" National Lottery draw will launch tomorrow as a major shake-up will see double the amount of millionaire winners each year.
Operator Allwyn has revamped the Lotto game so that two separate sets of six main balls and a bonus ball are drawn using two different machines in every draw.
This gives players two chances to win from a single line in round one, round two or both.
The price stays the same at £2 a line, with the same number of balls in play.
Allwyn said the change improves the odds of winning any prize from one in 9.3 to one in 4.9 and is expected to grow the annual number of Lotto millionaires from around 140 to approximately 345.
Tickets went on sale on Sunday, with the first draw under the new format taking place tomorrow.
Draws continue at around 8pm every Saturday and Wednesday.
Jackpots start at £2 million, rolling over up to five times before a must-be-won draw on the sixth occasion.

Players can still win by matching two or more main numbers.
There are two routes to a million: matching six main numbers for the jackpot, or five main numbers plus the bonus ball for a fixed £1million prize.
The Lotto HotPicks add-on also moves to the two-round format, remaining priced at £1.
The announcement comes as a Powys ticket holder has just days left to collect a £112,091 EuroMillions prize before the deadline, which is tomorrow.

The National Lottery has issued an urgent appeal, warning that unclaimed prizes are absorbed into the community fund once the 180-day window closes.
Five other substantial prizes also remain uncollected.
A Watford ticket holder is sitting on £177,000 from a January draw and a Croydon winner has £120,000 in Set For Life winnings from April.
Two separate £1million prizes remain unclaimed - one from a UK Millionaire Maker draw in Hartlepool, the other a EuroMillions jackpot won on a ticket bought in County Tyrone.
The Hartlepool winner has until September 9 to come forward with ticket code JLZG97793.
The shake-up also follows a heartwarming story that captured attention this week.
Former delivery driver Gary MacDonald, 61, returned to Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock a year after scooping a £5.2million Lotto jackpot to surprise former colleagues with flowers and lucky dip tickets.
Mr MacDonald spent over three decades delivering to shops at the centre before his win.
He has since married, moved house and starred in a Lotto TV advert.
He said: "It's been a crazy 12 months.
"Those people had been such a part of my daily working life - they were always in my plans. It's been worth the wait."
Donna Samuels, manager of Babyeze at Lakeside, said: "He absolutely didn't need to do this.
"Winning on the National Lottery honestly couldn't have happened to a nicer chap."
