Söz konusu istikrarsızlık, bu süreçte Süper Lig'de sahadaki sonuçlara yansıdı. Beşiktaş, ligde son şampiyonluğun ardından zirve yarışının uzağında kaldı ve son 5 sezonda ilk 2 sıraya giremedi. Ligde bir haftası kalan sezonu 4. sırada bitirmesi kesinleşen siyah-beyazlı ekip, söz konusu zaman diliminde 2 kez TFF Süper Kupa'yı, 1 kez de Türkiye Kupası'nı müzesine götürdü. Beşiktaş'ta istikrarsız yapı yönetimde de kendini gösterdi. Son şampiyonlukta başkanlık koltuğunda oturan Ahmet Nur Çebi, Ekim 2019'dan başladığı görevini 3 Aralık 2023 tarihinde yapılan olağanüstü genel kurul ile bıraktı. Aynı gün yapılan olağanüstü genel kurulu kazanarak başkan seçilen Hasan Arat'ın dönemi ise uzun sürmedi. Üst üste alınan olumsuz saha sonuçlarının ardından toplamda 363 gün yaptığı başkanlık görevinden ayrılan Arat'ın yerine ikinci başkan Hüseyin Yücel başkanlık koltuğuna oturdu. Hüseyin Yücel, yaklaşık 1 ay görev yaparken bir kez daha yapılan olağanüstü genel kurulla bu kez Serdal Adalı görevi devraldı. Bu kısa dönemde 4 başkanın görev yapması, teknik heyet ve oyuncu kadrolarında da istikrarı önledi. Beşiktaş'ta son 5 sezonda 9 teknik adam görev yaptı. Siyah-beyazlılarda 2020-2021'de şampiyonluğun mimarı teknik direktör Sergen Yalçın, bir sonraki sezon alınan kötü sonuçların ardından Aralık 2021'de görevinden istifa etti. 2021-2022 sezonundan bu yana teknik direktör konusunda istikrar sağlayamayan Beşiktaş'ta sırasıyla Önder Karaveli, Valerien Ismael, Burak Yılmaz, Rıza Çalımbay, Serdar Topraktepe, Fernando Santos, Giovanni van Bronckhorst ve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer görev yaptı. Siyah-beyazlılar, bu sezon başında Avrupa kupalarına play-off turunda veda edince Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ile yollarını ayırdı. Norveçli teknik adamın yerine Sergen Yalçın göreve geldi. Siyah-beyazlılarda kupasız geçen sezonun ardından teknik direktör Sergen Yalçın'ın geleceği de tartışma konusu. Beşiktaş'ta son 5 sezonda kaleci Ersin Destanoğlu, istikrarıyla ön plana çıkıyor. Siyah-beyazlı formayı ilk olarak 2019-2020 sezonunda giyen 25 yaşındaki eldiven, mevcut takımda aktif olarak görev yapan en eski oyuncu konumunda. Beşiktaş'ta aralıksız 7. sezonunu geride bırakmaya hazırlanan Ersin, tüm kulvarlarda 150 maçta siyah-beyazlıların kalesini korudu. Sergen Yalçın'ın ilk döneminde de vazgeçmediği Ersin Destanoğlu, bu sezon 31 maçta görev yaptı. Kadro istikrarını son yıllarda yakalayamayan Beşiktaş'ta bu sezon Necip Uysal konusunda da önemli bir karar alındı. Siyah-beyazlı forma altında 22. yılını geçiren Necip Uysal, takımın en eski oyuncusu konumundayken alınan kararla kadro dışı kaldı. Oyuncu kadrosunun sürekli değiştiği Beşiktaş'ta takımın "bayrak" isimlerinden olan 35 yaşındaki eski kaptan, bu kararın ardından sezon sonunda futbolu bırakacağını açıkladı. Üç sezon Rangers formasını terlettikten sonra Ağustos 2025'te Beşiktaş'a dönen Rıdvan Yılmaz ile Salih Uçan ve Kartal Kayra Yılmaz da siyah-beyazlı ekibin en eski isimlerinden. Son dönemde Beşiktaş formasını en uzun süre giyen yabancı futbolcu Milot Rashica oldu. Siyah-beyazlı takımdaki 3. sezonunu geride bırakmaya hazırlanan Kosovalı futbolcu, Beşiktaş formasını tüm kulvarlarda 115 karşılaşmada giydi. Milot Rashica'yı 2 sezondur takımda yer alan Alman stoper Felix Uduokhai takip etti. Uduokhai, iki sezonda 58 maçta görev yaptı. Diğer yabancı oyuncular ise siyah-beyazlı takımdaki ilk sezonlarını yaşadı. Yönetim ve teknik adam konusundaki istikrarsızlık, oyuncu transferlerine yansıdı. Siyah-beyazlı ekip, son şampiyonluğun yaşandığı 2020-2021 sezonu da dahil edildiğinde transfer dönemlerini hareketli geçirdi. İlk olarak 2020-2021'de 13 oyuncuyu renklerine bağlayan Beşiktaş, 27 oyuncuyu ise farklı ekiplere yolladı. Siyah-beyazlılardaki oyuncu hareketliliği diğer sezonlarda da sürdü. Beşiktaş'ta sırasıyla 2021-2022'de 12 oyuncu takıma katılırken, 18 futbolcu ise bonservisiyle ya da kiralık olarak gönderildi. Sonraki sezon ise siyah-beyazlılar 18 isimle kadrosunu güçlendirirken, 32 oyuncu takımdan ayrıldı. 2023-2024 sezonunda Beşiktaş'ta 15 futbolcuyla sözleşme imzalanırken, 26 oyuncuya veda edildi. Siyah-beyazlıların en az takviye yaptığı transfer dönemi ise Serdal Adalı'nın göreve geldiği ilk günlerde yaşandı. Hasan Arat yönetimi sezon başında 8 transfer gerçekleştirirken Adalı, devre arasında 2 takviye yaptı. Beşiktaş, geçen sezon toplamda 10 futbolcu transfer ederken, 32 oyuncuyla vedalaştı. Beşiktaş'ta bu sezon 19 oyuncu takıma katılırken, 34 futbolcuyla yol ayrımına gidildi. Siyah-beyazlılarda sezon öncesi Avusturya kampına katılan 35 oyuncudan ise 25'i takımdan gönderildi. Beşiktaş'ta kampta bulunan oyunculardan Ersin Destanoğlu, Emir Yaşar, Emre Bilgin, Felix Uduokhai, Emirhan Topçu, Salih Uçan, Milot Rashica, Kartal Kayra Yılmaz ve Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu kadroda yer alan oyuncular olarak göze çarptı.
