Bengals select Cashius Howell, edge from Texas A&M, with No. 41 pick in 2026 NFL Draft

The Cincinnati Bengals selected Texas A&M edge rusher Cashius Howell with the No. 41 pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.Howell was a boundary edge rusher as a one-year starter under head coach Mike Elko during his two seasons with the Aggies. After producing during three seasons in the MAC at Bowling Green, all he did upon jumping to the SEC was become the ninth unanimous All-American in Texas A&M history. Howell led the SEC in sacks with 11 and became Texas A&M’s first SEC Defensive Player of the Year since the team joined the conference in 2012.Advertisement
