A man has confessed to committing benefit fraud after failing to inform authorities about changes to his medical circumstances.
Tony Paul Rose, from Erith in Bexley, appeared before magistrates in Bromley on May 12.
The Londoner, whose address is listed as Swallow Close, entered a guilty plea.
Rose's charge relates to his failure to notify the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) his health had improved.
If Rose had informed the Govermment department about his improving condition, it would have affected his eligibility for Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
Rose did not disclose this status, meaning he continued receiving PIP payments to which he was not entitled.
The fraudulent activity occurred over a period spanning from December 4, 2022, until October 24, 2023.
Magistrates decided to postpone proceedings so that a pre-sentence report could be compiled ahead of his return to court.

Rose was released on unconditional bail following his appearance.
He is due back at Bromley Magistrates' Court in July, when he will learn his sentence.
