ALBAWABA - A video went wild on social media, sparking outrage across platforms and among activists after a young teenager in Baghdad, Iraq, was beheaded for allegedly citicizing Iran.
Footage was released showing angry locals trying to push past Iraqi security forces and enter the closed backyard of a house where a 15-year-old Iraqi boy was being decapitated for reportedly posting a clip on Facebook in which he slammed Tehran.
According to users who shared the clip, the video shows furious family members and friends of the victim attempting to break into the house of the alleged killer of their 15-year-old relative.
Visegrád 24, a famous X platform for news and trending clips, posted the footage and wrote the caption, "A 15-year-old Iraqi boy has been decapitated in Baghdad for criticising Iran in a video that he uploaded to Facebook. Friends and family members quickly tried to storm the killer’s home but were stopped by police officers."

Iraqi media outlets uncovered the truth behind the clip of angry men saying it is related to the killing of a young man named Haider, who was killed after a dispute over a football match.
According to Al-Sumaria TV, during a football match in the Al-Baladiyat district, east of Baghdad, the 15-year-old Haider was murdered at the hands of a group of people after a dispute escalated into a knife attack.
The victim's father said he was the first to arrive at the scene to find his son covered in blood. He also urged authorities to hold those responsible accountable for the horrific crime.
The police and emergency sources said that the boy had suffered a severed throat and six stab wounds to his back and hand.
Sources close to the victim noted that four people, including minors, chased Haider down the street and then brutally attacked him and mutilated his body before escaping the crime scene.
