Carrick, an FA Youth Cup winner with West Ham in 1999, said he was "disappointed" City had turned down United's offer to host the showpiece at Old Trafford. City, designated the home side, have named the 6,000-capacity Joie Stadium as the venue for the final, amid ongoing work at Etihad Stadium.For the first of their four Youth Cup victories, City beat United 3-1 in the 1986 final, played across two legs at Old Trafford and Maine Road.Director of BBC Sport Alex Kay-Jelski said: "This is a brilliant occasion featuring two outstanding academies and some of the brightest young talent in English football.
