Bayern Munich Target Morocco’s Ismael Saibari for Summer Move

Rabat – Bayern Munich are showing strong interest in Moroccan international Ismael Saibari ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. 

The 25-year-old midfielder has become one of the standout performers in the Dutch league this season, attracting attention from several major European clubs.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf reported that Bayern view Saibari as an ideal signing at this stage of his career. 

His progress at PSV has been notable, with consistent performances that show his technical quality and ability to influence games from midfield.

Saibari’s profile has grown rapidly thanks to his creativity and tactical discipline. His ability to adapt to high-tempo football makes him a natural fit for a major club like Bayern. 

Analysts believe his skill set could strengthen the Bavarian side’s midfield options, especially as they look to refresh their squad for next season.

PSV, however, are not expected to let him go easily. According to Transfermarkt, the Dutch champions will demand at least $60 million for the Moroccan, a figure that reflects both his importance to the team and the club’s strategy of maximizing financial returns on their top talents.

Saibari has delivered impressive numbers this season,  scoring 18 goals and providing 8 assists across 35 matches in all competitions. 

His contributions have been crucial in PSV’s dominant league campaign, where they sit comfortably at the top of the Eredivisie with 71 points, 17 clear of second-placed Feyenoord, with five games remaining.

Beyond statistics, Saibari’s influence has been felt in PSV’s title charge. His ability to control midfield battles and create scoring opportunities has made him one of the most reliable players in the squad. 

His performances have also boosted his standing with the Moroccan national team, where he is seen as a key figure for the future.

Saibari joined PSV Eindhoven in 2020, moving from Jong Genk in Belgium. Since then, he has steadily developed into a first-team regular, earning praise for his professionalism and steady improvement.
