"Türkiye-Bulgaristan-Yunanistan Üçlü Mekanizma Toplantısı"na ilişkin paylaşımda bulundu. "Gerçekleştirdiğimiz görüşmede, düzensiz göçle mücadele, üçlü mekanizma çalışmaları, terör ve organize suçlarla mücadele konularını kapsamlı şekilde ele aldık" ifadesini kullanan Çiftçi, şunları kaydetti: "Düzensiz göçle mücadelede, kaynağında çözümden sınır güvenliğine, etkin yakalamadan geri gönderme mekanizmalarına uzanan çok boyutlu stratejimizi kararlılıkla sürdürüyoruz. Attığımız her adım, yalnızca ülkemizin değil, aynı zamanda Avrupa'nın güvenliğine de katkı sağlamaktadır. Terör ve organize suçlarla mücadelede işbirliğinin derinleştirilmesi, bilgi paylaşımının artırılması ve iltica sisteminin istismarına karşı ortak bir hassasiyet geliştirilmesi gerektiğini bir kez daha vurguladık. Komşularımızla samimi ve yapıcı diyalog temelinde ilerlettiğimiz üçlü mekanizmanın, bölgemizin güvenliği ve istikrarı açısından güçlü bir zemin oluşturmaya devam edeceğine inanıyoruz."
