Aussie couple left baffled after they find a portaloo abandoned in their front yard

Kacie Stephens, who owns The Big Clean Co on the Mornington Peninsula, had been renovating her home with her husband when they noticed the blue portable toilet. They had assumed it belonged to the tradesmen but, after their job was finished, the toilet was left behind. 'I have a toilet in my front yard and nobody knows who it belongs to,' she said in a TikTok video on April 16. 'A company... were doing the roof and a toilet got dropped off in the front yard. 'We thought it was kind of weird, because they practically finished the roof. Why have they been working here every day and now they finally get a toilet?' Ms Stephens said that her husband asked the tradesmen when they would collect their toilet after they finished the job but they said it wasn't theirs.  'We don't know who the toilet belongs to. It just got dropped off and left here,' she added. While renovating her home, Kacie Stephens found a portaloo in her front yard It was meant for a home about 20 houses down the street, Ms Stephens said (stock image) But, weeks later, the couple finally found out why the toilet was in their garden. 'It was meant for a house about 20 houses further down the street,' Ms Stephens told the Daily Mail. 'The truck driver saw men working on my roof and didn’t bother looking at house numbers.' Australians on social media said they found the situation 'too funny', with one user saying: 'I'm invested in this 100 per cent.' Another wrote: 'Too lovely, set it out the back for emergency plumbing back-up.' 'Take it to the backyard as a pool loo,' a third added.    No comments have so far been submitted.
