Atlanta Falcons take Clemson CB Avieon Terrell, brother of A.J. Terrell, with No. 48 pick in 2026 NFL Draft

The Athletic has live coverage of the 2026 NFL Draft.The Atlanta Falcons selected Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell, the younger brother of Falcons star A.J. Terrell, with the No. 48 pick of the 2026 NFL Draft on Friday. The younger Terrell, who followed in his brother’s footsteps and played for the Tigers and coach Dabo Swinney, finished his career with 125 tackles, 25 pass breakups, eight forced fumbles, four sacks and three interceptions in 39 games over the course of three seasons. He earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2025 and was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, presented to college football’s top defensive back. His eight career forced fumbles led the nation amongst cornerbacks over the past three seasons and are a Clemson record for a defensive back.Advertisement
