Asda, Morrisons and Tesco confirm free giveaway to parents - here's how to get it

Asda has announced that parents can take advantage of a freebie at its cafés, with only one simple requirement to qualify. According to ASDA Groceries , parents or guardians are entitled to a "free Ella's baby food pouch". This is provided that the child is under 18 months old and a purchase has been made in the café. Customers can also enjoy a free water refill across all Asda cafés, while those aged 60 and over can benefit from a 10% discount off their bill. The discount is exclusively available on Wednesdays. Asda is far from the only supermarket rolling out freebies and deals in its cafés. Morrisons offers customers free refills on self-serve hot drinks across all its café locations. Kids can also eat free as part of a partnership. It writes: "Our Kids Eat Free partnership with Birdseye gives kids a delicious selection of a main, side and drink. Get one free kid's meal with any adult meal over £5." Tesco also offer a similar deal. It says: "This half term, kids can enjoy a free meal with any adult purchase in The Café, when dining in Monday - Friday." The fine print says customers can receive one free kids’ meal with every adult meal purchased in The Café. The offer is valid for dine-in only, and a child must be present.
