After losing the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City they've now seen their FA Cup hopes go up in smoke, losing 2-1 to Southampton.‌The Saints took the lead in the first-half through Ross Stewart. Shea Charles then scored a late winner after Viktor Gyokeres had got Arsenal back on level terms. Despite playing lower league opposition the Premier League leaders couldn't get the job done as another trophy opportunity passed them by.‌In the aftermath of the result Southampton went back and quoted one of Morgan's social media posts, where he clearly thought Arsenal were looking good value to progress.Throughout the contest the broadcaster was clearly getting frustrated, and did one post where he seemed to question the team's desire to win silverware.
