Arsenal 2026/27 home kit launched before Champions League final with major design change

Arsenal have unveiled their brand new strip for the 2026/27 season ahead of their remaining fixtures in the current campaign. The Gunners are brilliantly positioned to clinch the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years and have also reached their first Champions League final since 2006. The new Adidas kit is available to buy now at Fanatics and features some significant departures from this season's design. Most striking is the introduction of a third colour alongside the red and white, which have long dominated the Gunners' home strips. In 2024/25, Arsenal's home kit featured blue accents, in 2023/24 there were gold shoulder stripes, and there was also some navy in 2022/23. However, neither blue nor gold will feature on the new design. Instead, the iconic triple Adidas stripes grace the shoulders: the central stripe is the familiar Arsenal red, while the outer stripes carry a maroon shade, an even deeper tone of red, reports Football London . That particular strip, however, used the darker red merely as a border to divide the red and white from the sleeves and torso sides. On this new kit, the maroon is considerably more understated. What is far from understated, though, is a tweak to the collar: it is no longer a conventional straight collar but a crewneck, consistent with the 2025/26 design. Yet it is the collar that introduces a fresh and distinctive touch to the strip. Both the classic Arsenal red and the deeper red feature a subtle lightning bolt motif. Lightning bolts, which appeared on several of the iconic 1990s away kits, have made a comeback in a number of contemporary designs. Whether that be in a zig-zag pattern, much like the 2025/26 away kit. A comparable detail featured on the 2023/24 home kit, as well as the straight collar of the 2022/23 strip. The Arsenal 2026/27 Home Kit is available now at Fanatics , with supporters able to choose between 'replica' or 'authentic' versions, priced from £85 for adult shirts and £55 for children's. Posting on X, one supporter wrote: "I really love this. This is the hottest kit out of Europe right now." Another added: "This kit is actually so nice." Not everybody is quite so enthusiastic, with one supporter commenting: "Red socks again is pretty disappointing." Meanwhile, another Gunner mused: "Imagine this kit with the gold Premier League champions badge." Arsenal's away and third kits have already been the subject of numerous leaks, though these are expected to be unveiled throughout pre-season.
