Antalya Havalimanı'nın, 18 Mayıs itibarıyla ileri seviye hava trafik kontrol sistemi olan "Advanced ATC Tower" ile hizmet vermeye başlayacağına dikkati çeken Uraloğlu, "Devlet Hava Meydanları İşletmesi (DHMİ) ile EUROCONTROL Network Manager arasında yürütülen yoğun çalışmalar sonucunda Antalya Havalimanı'mız, Avrupa hava trafik ağına Advanced ATC Tower konseptiyle entegre edilen ilk Türk havalimanı olacak." değerlendirmesinde bulundu. Söz konusu sistemin hava trafik kontrol kulesinde üretilen operasyonel bilgilerin EUROCONTROL sistemine gerçek zamanlı aktarılmasını sağladığını vurgulayan Uraloğlu, pushback, taksi süreci, pist kullanımı, kalkış sırası ve gerçekleşen kalkış zamanı gibi kritik operasyonel verilerin doğrudan Avrupa hava trafik ağına iletilebileceğinin altını çizdi. Uraloğlu, böylece yalnızca uçuş planı verilerine bağlı kalmadan gerçek operasyonel veriler üzerinden dinamik trafik yönetimi sağlanacağına işaret ederek, sistem kapsamında EUROCONTROL ile B2B (şirketten şirkete) bağlantısı üzerinden hava trafik kontrol-kalkış planlama bilgisi (ATC-DPI) mesajlarının gönderileceğini belirtti. Bakan Uraloğlu, sistem sayesinde uçuşların Avrupa hava trafik ağı içerisindeki operasyonel yönetiminin daha doğru, dinamik ve gerçek zamanlı veriler üzerinden gerçekleştirileceğini bildirerek, "Yoğun yaz sezonunda Antalya Havalimanı'ndaki trafik akışını daha etkin, verimli ve koordineli şekilde yöneteceğiz." ifadesini kullandı. Advanced ATC Tower uygulamasının klasik uçuş planı temelli yapıdan gerçek operasyonel veriye dayalı dinamik hava trafik yönetimine geçiş açısından önemli dönüşüm olduğuna dikkati çeken Uraloğlu, sistemin uçuş gecikmelerinin daha etkin yönetilmesine, trafik akış yönetiminin iyileştirilmesine ve hava yolları ile hava trafik kontrol birimleri arasındaki operasyonel koordinasyonun güçlendirilmesine katkı sağlayacağını vurguladı. Uraloğlu, Avrupa'nın en yoğun turizm ve charter operasyonlarından birine sahip Antalya Havalimanı'nın, yürütülen çalışmalar sonucunda, Avrupa'daki en büyük ve yoğun Advanced ATC Tower operasyonlarından birini gerçekleştiren meydanlardan biri haline gelmesini beklediklerini belirterek, Antalya'nın hava trafik yönetiminde Avrupa'nın öne çıkan merkezlerinden olacağını ifade etti. DHMİ ve TÜBİTAK işbirliğiyle geliştirilen yerli ve milli Elektronik Uçuş Stripi-Dijital Hava Trafik Kontrolörü Kalkış Müsaadesi (EFS/DCL) altyapısının Advanced ATC Tower sistemi sayesinde EUROCONTROL sistemleriyle daha ileri seviyede entegre edildiğini kaydeden Uraloğlu, EFS/DCL altyapısının bugün itibarıyla Türkiye genelinde 35 havalimanında aktif olarak kullanıldığını bildirdi. Bakan Uraloğlu, EFS sisteminin hava trafik kontrolörlerinin uçuşlara ilişkin operasyonel bilgileri dijital ortamda takip etmesini sağladığına da değinerek, şu değerlendirmede bulundu: "DCL ise kalkış müsaadesi süreçlerinin dijital ortamda yürütülmesine imkan tanıyor. Bu sistem sayesinde Advanced ATC Tower uygulaması için gerekli operasyonel bilgi akışı da kesintisiz şekilde sağlanıyor. Türkiye, sivil havacılıkta milli yazılım ve donanımlarla önemli teknolojik atılım gerçekleştirdi. Kısa süre içerisinde tüm havalimanlarında EFS kurulum ve eğitimlerinin tamamlanmasını hedefliyoruz. Havalimanlarımızı milli yazılımla donatmaya devam ediyoruz. Böylece Türkiye'nin hava trafik yönetimi altyapısının Avrupa hava trafik ağı ile gerçek zamanlı ve operasyon bazlı entegrasyonu önemli ölçüde güçlenecek." Ankara Esenboğa ve İzmir Adnan Menderes havalimanlarında da Advanced ATC Tower sertifikasyon çalışmalarının devam ettiğini bildiren Uraloğlu, söz konusu havalimanlarının da bu yıl içerisinde sertifikalarını alarak hizmet vermeye başlamalarının hedeflendiğini kaydetti.
