Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın himayelerinde ve Dışişleri Bakanlığının ev sahipliğinde, Belek Turizm Bölgesi'ndeki NEST Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi'nde yarın başlayacak forum için hazırlıklar tamamlandı. Anadolu Ajansının "Global İletişim Ortağı" olduğu forumda, uluslararası kamuoyuna mesaj vermek amacıyla çeşitli tematik stantlar ve özel sergi alanları kuruldu. Bu kapsamda oluşturulan özel salonda, İsrail saldırıları nedeniyle Filistin'de yaşanan yıkımın yalnızca fiziki boyutla sınırlı kalmadığı, bir toplumun hafızasını, bilgi birikimini ve geleceğini hedef alan sistematik bir tahribat olduğu vurgulandı. "Okul katliamı" (scholasticide) temasıyla hazırlanan salonda, Filistinli şair Mahmut Derviş'in "Bu Topraklarda" şiirinin yer aldığı büyük bir kitap görseli dikkati çekti. Kitabın duvarında kırık bir kalem figürü yer alırken, çevresine rengarenk çiçeklerle süslenmiş okul çantaları asıldı. Platformun farklı bölümlerinde, Filistinli öğrencilerin kurduğu kulüpleri temsil eden tematik alanlar oluşturuldu. "Tatreez Filistin Nakışı Sanat Kulübü"nde geleneksel motifler sergilenirken, "Zeytin Dalı Mimarlık ve Şehircilik Kulübü"nde bina maketleri, "Özgür Mercek Gazetecilik ve Medya Kulübü"nde ise kırık bir kamera yer aldı. Kulüp stantlarında ise "Deklanşörler sustu, vizörler karardı, hakikati tüm dünyaya haykıracak yüzlerce basın çalışanı adayı hayatını kaybetti", "Dünyaya nefes aldıracak projeleri azim ve heyecanla hazırlayan yetenekli öğrenciler, enkaz altında kaldı. Gelecek öldü, planlar ve hayatlar toz bulutu oldu", "Sanatı toprağa kök salmış Filistin'in geleneksel motifleri, gelecek nesillerin ellerinde yaşamaya devam edecekti fakat o eller, iğne ve iplikten bile korkanlar tarafından yok edildi" yazılarına yer verildi. Salonda "Yarım kalan ders" başlığıyla içinde zarar gören bir sandalyenin bulunduğu Filistin'de bir öğrencinin yarım kalan dersini ve kesintiye uğrayan eğitim yolculuğunu temsil eden bir sınıf görseli sunuldu. "Geleceğin kapısında kalanlar" başlıklı alanda da yarım kalan eğitimlerin ve kesintiye uğrayan hayatların sembolü olan diplomalar sergilendi. Duvarda da "Burada gördüğünüz her diploma, Filistinli öğrencilerin tamamlayamadıkları eğitim yolculuklarının ve gerçekleşemeyen meslek hayallerinin birer ifadesidir. Eğer yaşayabilselerdi, eğitim yuvaları yıkılmasaydı, bugün bu diplomalara sahip olacak, kimi doktor, kimi mühendis, kimi mimar olacak, toplumlarına ve insanlığa hizmet edeceklerdi" yazısı dikkati çekti. "Renkler kaybolunca" başlıklı alana ise savaşın gölgesinde büyüyen çocukların çizdiği resimler asıldı.
