تتأثر حاليًا محافظات الظاهرة والبريمي ومسندم وشمال الباطنة وجنوب الباطنة بأمطار رعدية غزيرة، مصحوبة برياح هابطة نشطة، أدت إلى جريان معظم الشعاب والأودية.

وقال هلال بن سالم الحجري، رئيس قسم التنبؤات ونظام الإنذار المبكر بهيئة الطيران المدني، لوكالة الأنباء العُمانية: إنّ التوقعات تُشير إلى استمرار فرص هطول الأمطار الرعدية على محافظات الداخلية ومسقط وشمال الشرقية وجنوب الشرقية والأجزاء الشمالية من محافظة الوسطى.

وأشار إلى أنّ كميات الأمطار المسجلة من صباح اليوم حتى الساعة 12 ظهرًا جاءت على النحو الآتي: 25 مليمترًا في ولاية البريمي، و21 مليمترًا في ولاية محضة، و15.2 مليمترًا في ولاية ضنك، مؤكدًا أنّ هذه الأرقام قابلة للارتفاع.
