وزارت دفاع آمریکا اعلام کرد این کشور در چارچوب عملیات خود علیه جمهوری اسلامی از قایق‌های تندرو بدون سرنشین برای گشت‌زنی استفاده کرده است. سخنگوی پنتاگون گفت که این شناورها بیش از ۴۵۰ ساعت دریانوردی و بیش از ۲۲۰۰ مایل دریایی گشت در پشتیبانی از این عملیات ثبت کرده‌اند.
