While, like any major city, the capital certainly isn't without its issues, it doesn't take much to expose these claims as, at best, grossly overstated, or at worst, outright falsehoods.‌One American man has brilliantly dismantled those peddling baseless allegations about London life by documenting what he actually witnesses daily. Jay Vail, who noes lives in the UK and playfully brands himself on social media as "the immigrant who's taking your jobs", recently uploaded a clip to his YouTube channel entitled: "An American survives the dangerous city of London."‌The footage begins aboard a train, with the doors sliding open as Jay emerges onto the platform at London Euston. "Here it goes, no turning back now," he remarks. "It's like that opening scene [in] Saving Private Ryan as I walk onto the platform of Euston station, now officially in London."‌By stark contrast, the real scene unfolding displays fellow travellers quietly heading towards the station exit, completely unbothered by those surrounding them - an utterly unremarkable sight for any Londoner.
