طوكيو- (أ ف ب) – أعلنت اليابان الخميس أنها بدأت الإفراج عن جزء آخر من احتياطها النفطي الاستراتيجي، سعيا للتخفيف من آثار ارتفاع الأسعار الناجم عن الحرب في الشرق الأوسط على الدولة الفقيرة بالموارد.

وقد أغلقت إيران مضيق هرمز الحيوي، الذي يمر عبره خُمس النفط الخام والغاز العالمي، منذ أن شنت الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل هجماتها على الجمهورية الإسلامية في 28 شباط/فبراير.

واليابان خامس أكبر مستورد للنفط، وتستورد أكثر من 90% منه من الشرق الأوسط.

وقال المسؤول في وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة والصناعة كانامي موريموتو لوكالة فرانس برس “بدأ الإفراج (عن المخزون الوطني) عند الساعة 10,59 صباحا (01,59 ت غ) لمصافي النفط”.
