For Suneesh Krishan Balakrishnan, this Big Ticket win is so special since its his first after eight years of participating in the raffle. The Dubai-based sales professional from Kerala revealed that he kept a personal tradition which he believed would bring him luck—he used to choose numbers that end with a 3.

The 54-year-old man said he will share the prize with four close friends who participated with him. With his share of the prize, he plans to support an orphanage in India, a cause close to his heart.

Recalling the moment he received the winning call, Suneesh said, “I always had hope that I would win someday, and this win restored that confidence.”

For Muhammad Azhar Jam Imam Baksh, a 39-year-old driver from Pakistan, it was also his first Big Ticket win after participating with a group of four friends.

On his reaction to the winning call, the Abu Dhabi-based expat said he was completely speechless and couldn’t believe that he had won. He added that he will continue participating and encourages others to try their luck.

After years of taking part in the raffle, Sarath Balan, a 42-year-old from Kerala, is finally celebrating his first win. The Dubai-based businessman whos has been residing in the emirate for the past 20 years with his family said that he missed the first call to inform him of his good luck.

“I didn’t pick up the first call because I was in a meeting. I later checked online to confirm and was surprised to see that I had won,” said Balan.

The fourth winner in this e-draw was Mohammed Ibrahim, a 30-year-old doctor based in Kerala, who has been participating in in Big Ticket for the past three years. He has been purchasing tickets every month alongside a group of six friends.

When asked about how he first discovered Big Ticket, Mohammed said, “My father has been purchasing tickets for over 20 years, and my brother works in the UAE. I first heard about Big Ticket through them and decided to start participating three years ago with a group of friends.”

Speaking about the winning moment, he added, “This is my first time winning, so when I received the call, it was an incredible feeling. I can’t fully express what I felt, it was a truly happy moment for me and my family.” He shared that the prize will be split among his group, and he plans to save his share as he prepares to move to Canada later this year.
