نعى "تيار المستقبل" الفنان المبدع أحمد قعبور، مؤكداً أن رحيله يشكل خسارة كبيرة للبنان وللمشهد الفني الملتزم، لما مثّله من صوت صادق عبر عن قضايا الناس وآمالهم وآلامهم، ولما قدّمه من كلمات وألحان عميقة حاكت الوجدان اللبناني والعربي وخلفت إرثاً فنياً سيبقى حاضراً في ذاكرة الأجيال.

واستذكر التيار بـ"اعتزاز مساهمات الراحل في الأعمال الفنية التي قدمها للرئيس الشهيد رفيق الحريري، ولتلفزيون المستقبل، حيث جسّد من خلالها الإيمان بلبنان والثقة بالمستقبل وروح النهوض التي شكلت ولا تزال جوهر مشروع الرئيس الشهيد".
