أفاد المندوب السامي للتخطيط، شكيب بنموسى، بأن المملكة المغربية تمر بمنعطف ديمغرافي حاسم يتميز بتباطؤ وتيرة النمو السكاني مقابل صعود لافت لمؤشرات الشيخوخة، داعيا إلى استحضار هذه التحولات في بلورة السياسات التنموية المستقبلية.

وأوضح  بنموسى، خلال لقاء تواصلي بالعاصمة الرباط، أن البنية السكانية الوطنية شهدت تحولات عميقة خلال العقد الأخير؛ حيث انتقلت نسبة الأشخاص البالغين من العمر 60 سنة فما فوق من 9,4% في سنة 2014 لتصل إلى 13,8% برسم إحصائيات سنة 2024.

وفي سياق استعراضه للاستشرافات المستقبلية، أشار المسؤول إلى أن هذا المنحى التصاعدي سيتواصل بوتيرة أسرع، حيث من المرتقب أن تمثل فئة المسنين 19,5% من مجموع الساكنة بحلول عام 2040، لتصل إلى ذروتها في أفق سنة 2050 بنسبة تناهز 22,9%.

وشدد المندوب السامي على أن هذا “الانتقال الديمغرافي” يطرح تحديات جوهرية تتطلب استجابة استباقية، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالحفاظ على التوازنات السوسيو-اقتصادية، وضمان استدامة مسار التنمية في ظل تغير هرم الأعمار وتأثيراته المحتملة على سوق الشغل ومنظومة الحماية الاجتماعية.
