çatışmaların sona ermesi olduğunu belirterek, sonuçta Almanya’nın Avrupa'nın en büyük silahlı kuvvetlerinden biri olduğunu ve bu yüzden sorumluluk üstlenmeleri gerektiğini ifade etti. Alman donanmasının mayın tespiti ve temizleme konusunda iyi olduğunu aktaran Pistorius, Hürmüz Boğazı'nda seyrüsefer güvenliğine katkıda bulunabileceklerini kaydetti.
