Allyson Felix, U.S. track star, announces comeback attempt for 2028 L.A. Olympics

Allyson Felix, the U.S. track star whose 11 Olympic medals are the most of any woman or American in the sport’s history, is going to try for more.Felix, 40, announced Monday that she’s planning a comeback in a bid to make the 2028 Olympic team in her hometown of Los Angeles.“When I was competing, you just heard this roar for host-country athletes at the Olympics,” Felix told Time magazine in announcing her decision. “I would love to experience that.”Advertisement
