All the best photos as weather fails to dampen Barry PrideHundreds turned out to celebrate the LGBT+ in one of Wales' most famous seaside townsBookmarkShareNewsByEllie GosleyReporter16:14, 6 JUN 2026Bookmark (Image: Mark Lewis)Pride returned to Barry for a sixth year running as the seaside town celebrated in style. Despite the weather, hundreds turned out for the party atmosphere and a day filled with live talent, food and drink and community spirit. Dozens took part in a march on Holton Road before everyone headed to Central Park to enjoy the fabulousness of the free event. There were two massive marquees to keep everyone dry and plenty of entertainment planned to keep spirits high. As well as performances from Beyonce and Amy Winehouse tribute acts, Welsh Drag Race UK star Catrin Feelings is set to be perform. The march kicked off at 11am but the fun at Central Park is set to continue until 8pm. June is Pride month and cities and towns across Wales are hosting events to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. The biggest of these events, Pride Cymru, is due to take place in Cardiff later this month. You can find all the details about that here.
