Braxton, 20, and Braden Canterberry, 17, and their friend, 18, who was not identified, were seen by police speeding out of a local gravel pit on County Road 36 around 2am on Wednesday. Police had been called to the area for teens drinking in the pit, ABC 33/40 reported. Cops later found their SUV crashed and all three occupants had been ejected from the vehicle. It was a single-vehicle crash. The Canterberry boys were found deceased, while their friend was life-flighted to a Birmingham hospital in critical condition, AL.com reported. Authorities said the crash was not the result of a police pursuit. Although police turned on their lights, they did not chase the car. The deaths of the Canterberry boys left their mother, Brandy Mitchell-Canterberry, devastated, as the mother-of-three mourned her youngest children. 'These two boys were my world,' she told AL.com. 'They were my reason for everything.
