By OLIVIA DAY, ASSISTANT NEWS EDITOR, AUSTRALIA Published: 11:35, 12 August 2026 | Updated: 11:35, 12 August 2026 A woman has broken down in tears as she told a court how she was raped at knifepoint by two Afghan migrants in a London park.  Noorullah Ahmdzai, 26, and a second teenage defendant whose name cannot be reported for legal reasons, allegedly attacked the woman on August 16, 2025.  The woman had been spending time with a male friend in Barking Park in east London when they were approached by the pair.  The two men pinned the woman to the ground before threatening her and her friend with a knife, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard this week.  Giving evidence, the woman said that one of her alleged attackers 'had a beard, not like a big one, a small one'. 'He was talking in an accent, like people from Afghanistan talk,' she recalled. 'He pulled [my trousers] down. He was trying to kiss me.' She said that the two men proceeded to rape her. The woman had been spending time with a male friend in Barking Park in east London (pictured) when they were approached by two Afghan migrants on August 16, 2025 The woman broke down while being cross-examined by Ahmdzai's barrister Emily Culverhouse, and the court had to adjourn briefly.  'There was an agreement that you would have sex with both men for £70?', Ms Culverhouse asked the woman.  'No, that is not true', she replied, adding that she had been restrained on the ground.  She said: 'One of them was pushing me against the ground so that I can't move, and the other person was on me.  'One of them was grabbing my legs. 'I don't remember who tried to kiss me but one of them tried to kiss me.' Ms Culverhouse said: 'You complained because you wanted £500.' 'You said that you would call the police and make things bad for them?' the lawyer pressed.  Ahmdzai, of Barking, east London, and the second teenage defendant deny rape, threatening another with a blade or a point and false imprisonment. The teenager additionally denies assault by penetration.  Sorry we are not currently accepting comments on this article.
