açıklamada, son günlerde ülkenin farklı noktalarında etkili olan yağışların neden olduğu afetlere ilişkin detaylar paylaşıldı. Açıklamada, son 24 saatte afetler nedeniyle ülke genelinde 22 kişinin hayatını kaybettiği, 32 kişinin de yaralandığı belirtildi. Böylece, ülkede şiddetli yağışların etkili olmasından bu yana afetlere bağlı olarak yaşamını yitirenlerin sayısı 132'ye, yaralananların sayısı ise 192'ye yükseldi. Afganistan'da havaların ısınmasıyla karların erimesi, şiddetli yağışlar ve altyapının yetersizliği sonucu meydana gelen seller can ve mal kayıplarına neden oluyor. Ülkede her yıl yüzlerce kişi bu nedenle hayatını kaybediyor.
