An actor, bodybuilder and model has died aged 41 just two weeks after sharing a poignant post online. Jakub Łoza passed away at 3am on Sunday May 3, his family confirmed to his tens of thousands of social media followers. Only those closest to him were aware he had been battling an unspecified illness for some time. Two weeks before his death, he wrote online: "I'm currently undergoing treatment " it's a real phase I'm going through. I've never asked, 'Why me?' I've always said, 'Jesus, I trust in You. If this is the path, I accept it.' And you know what? I've never felt more at peace than I do now." Despite this, news of his death has come as a shock to many. His agent, Ewa Rączy, told local media it came "completely out of the blue". She said: "We'd only seen each other recently through work. "He was active, looked great, and seemed to be in the prime of his life. There was nothing to suggest anything was wrong. I had no indication, either from him or from his loved ones, that he was dealing with any health problems." Jakub was known for roles in popular series and films including "Barwy szczęścia", "Szpital św. Anny" and "Najpierw ucichły ptaki". Alongside acting, he worked as a bodybuilder, personal trainer and model, and regularly encouraged his followers to look after their health and improve their lifestyle. Jakub is reported to have lived in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, as reported by NeedToKnow. According to a local report from November 2018, he placed first in the Classic Bodybuilding category at the UKUP (UK Ultimate Physiques) British Finals. Ewa added: "He was excellent in front of the camera, with a natural ease around people. He was young, full of energy, committed and talented, but also warm and kind. The sort of person who gave something good to others " through his presence, professionalism and positive energy. That makes his passing all the harder to come to terms with." His funeral will take place in his hometown of Rzeszów, Poland, today.
