(CNN) -- أعلنت السلطات في إمارة أبوظبي الخميس أن حطاماً متساقطاً من صاروخ باليستي تم اعتراضه أسفر عن مقتل شخصين وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين.

وأفاد المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة أبوظبي بأن الحطام سقط على شارع سويحان، وهو شارع رئيسي في الجانب الشرقي من المدينة.

وإلى جانب حالتي الوفاة- اللتين لم يُكشف عن هويتيهما- تسبب الحادث أيضاً في إصابة ثلاثة أشخاص وإلحاق أضرار بعدد من السيارات.

وتعرضت الإمارات العربية المتحدة لهجمات إيرانية منذ بدء الحرب قبل أكثر من ثلاثة أسابيع. وأفادت السلطات باعتراض...
