Aaron Rodgers will return to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2026 season, a league source confirmed to The Athletic.Rodgers, who signed a one-year contract with Pittsburgh last offseason, said last summer that he was “pretty sure” 2025 would be his final season, but plans changed after a bounce-back season during which he led the Steelers to an AFC North title. Rodgers will reunite with new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy, who worked with Rodgers for 13 seasons (2006-18) with the Green Bay Packers.Rodgers, who threw for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 2026, turns 43 in December.This story will be updated.
