84% students show self-management skills, but parents put academics first: Study
A social experiment conducted by Glendale International School in Hyderabad reveals a growing emphasis on behavioural learning alongside academics. Across Grades 1 to 9, 84% of students demonstrated self-management, while others showed strong initiative, collaboration, and planning skills. However, a perception gap emerged—parents focused on academic outcomes, whereas students highlighted life skills like responsibility and listening.
