Subscribe to read this story ad-freeGet unlimited access to ad-free articles and exclusive content.The women were splashed with sulfuric acid on June 15 when people on a moped targeted them in their car as they drove by, officials said.“All six victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries that included skin burns and peeling,” department spokesperson Kim Wallace Scalcione said.Three teens, 13, 14 and 15 years old, were arrested in connection with the incident, Scalcione said, without providing a date of their arrests. They each are accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury and additional charges.
