Instead, it will take place in Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles — with each location hosting their own kickoff on June 11 or 12. After the opening ceremony, the tournament will be jointly hosted across 16 cities — 11 in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada — with a total of 48 teams competing.
