People present at the site rescued three students in time, but two teachers and a student drowned, the CSP said. The deceased were identified as Vijay Singh, 52, Prince Modi, 28, and Harshit Patidar, 15, he said. One boy and two girls who were rescued were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Ghanghoria said. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
