maddeler laboratuvar ortamında daha kolay tespit edilebilecek. Böylece uygunsuz ürünlerin piyasaya girişi zorlaşacak, arıcılarımız daha güvenilir girdilere ulaşacak." dedi. AA muhabirinin edindiği bilgiye göre, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı, "Türk Gıda Kodeksi Bal Tebliği'nde Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Tebliğ Taslağı"nı hazırlayarak görüşe sundu. Taslak kapsamında, arıların bal depolamak ve yavru yetiştirmek için kullandıkları, saf balmumundan üretilen, üzerinde işçi arı gözü kabartmaları bulunan standart altıgen levhalar olarak bilinen temel peteğin saflığının ve uygunluğunun kontrol edilmesine yönelik düzenlemeler yapıldı. Bu çerçevede, bal üretiminde kullanılmak üzere piyasaya arz edilecek temel peteğin özelliklerine dair kriterler belirlendi. Temel petek üreten gıda işletmeleri, tebliğin yürürlüğe girdiği tarihten itibaren 1 yıl içinde söz konusu hükümlerine uymak zorunda olacak. Uygunsuz ürünler yürürlük tarihinden 1 yıl sonra piyasada bulundurulmayacak. TAB Merkez Birliği Başkanı Demir, temel peteğin, arının yavru yetiştirdiği, balını, polenini ve diğer ürünlerini depoladığı çok kritik bir yapı olduğunu söyledi. Burada yaşanacak en küçük kalite sorununun doğrudan hem arı sağlığını hem de balın kalitesini etkilediğine işaret eden Demir, "Bal tebliğinde yapılacak revizyonla, arıcılığın en temel girdilerinden biri olan temel petek ilk kez net teknik kriterlere bağlanmış olacak." diye konuştu. Demir, Bakanlığın bu adımının hem üretim koşullarını standart altına almak hem de olası sahteciliğin önüne geçmek açısından son derece yerinde bir düzenleme olduğunu bildirdi. Arıcılık sektöründe en önemli sorunlardan birinin doğal balmumu yerine yapay veya sentetik içeriklerin kullanılması olduğunu dile getiren Demir, bazı durumlarda doğal balmumuna parafin, serezin gibi yabancı maddelerin karıştırılabildiğini ifade etti. Demir, farklı kalitede veya hastalık taşıma riski olan mumların birlikte işlenmesi ve yeterli sterilizasyon yapılmamasının, hastalıkların petek yoluyla yayılmasına neden olabildiğine dikkati çekerek, şöyle devam etti: "Bu da hem arı sağlığını hem de üretilen balın güvenilirliğini doğrudan etkiliyor. Getirilecek kriterlerle birlikte temel petek artık mevzuat kapsamında açık şekilde tanımlanacak ve denetlenebilir hale gelecek, 5996 sayılı Kanun çerçevesinde daha etkin kontrol sağlanacak. Ayrıca bilimsel kriterlerle balmumuna katılan yabancı maddeler laboratuvar ortamında daha kolay tespit edilebilecek. Böylece uygunsuz ürünlerin piyasaya girişi zorlaşacak, arıcılarımız daha güvenilir girdilere ulaşacak. Aynı zamanda dürüst üreticiler korunacak ve haksız rekabetin önüne geçilecek." Balın, dünyada en fazla taklit ve tağşişe konu olan ürünlerden olduğunu vurgulayan Demir, petek ile süzme bal arasında güvenilirlik konusunda yapılan ayrımın doğru olmadığına işaret etti. Demir, doğru üretim yapan arıcıların ürettiği balların ister petekli ister süzme olsun hakiki bal olduğunun altını çizerek, burada üretimin güvenilir, izlenebilir ve mevzuata uygun olmasının önemli olduğunu belirtti. Petek balın Türk kültüründe önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu ve ihracat açısından da değerli bir ürün olduğunu anlatan Demir, şunları kaydetti: "Bu nedenle odaklanmamız gereken konu ürünün formu değil, güvenilirliğidir. Balda sahtecilik çoğu zaman ancak laboratuvar analizleriyle kesin olarak tespit edilebilir. Bu nedenle mevzuat düzenlemeleri ve bilimsel çalışmalar büyük önem taşıyor.
